My DEBUT Album, September 2019.
Where do songs come from?
Ever wonder where songs come from? I will tell you, my friends—they come from pain! They come from love! They come from all those feelings that we experience while we’re bumbling along trying to figure life out. And now, I invite you to listen to my bumbles! Music is the best way I know to express myself. I was forced to be a quiet little girl, taught to hold it all in, but life is much better OUT LOUD! Stay True To You!

“True To You feels like a warm afternoon on the porch with a good friend who’s got a lot to catch you up on, every word of it poignant and nostalgic and sweet. A gratitude that feels deeply earned is layered into her work. Her soaring tribute to her childhood best friend, My Tanya Feels Like Home, captures the feeling of home and safety that the best friendships gift us. My favorite track, La Bella Vita, captures the precious loveliness and the challenge of enjoying the right now instead of leaning into the temptation towards envy or consumerism.
It is often hard to write about happiness, but Tori has done the work on this album of capturing a sweetness that comes on the other side of the bitter, turning estrangement into reunion and owning kindness in spite of cruelty, to enjoy the singular life we’re all given. Her voice is sweet and soothing, her folk-instrumentation catchy and intricate, and True To You left me refreshed and smiling. Thank you for sharing your songs with us, Tori!”

“Through “Beautiful Pain” Tori expresses that truth with a ’60’s folk vibe and reminds us that experience is not just what happens to us—but what we do with it!
Godspeed on the haunting track, “They can’t take everything” reaching child abuse survivors, perpetrators and cover-uppers.”

“You have a beautiful voice, let no one tell you different. I heard your songs, they are beautiful and touched me personally. I also grew up shy, and sheltered from the evil. My path was not the right one, but the only one I knew. Keep on writing and singing your messages will inspire.”
